There is nothing mystical or magical about these psychic abilities. To put it simply, these are just beyond our material world. As such often they are considered magical tricks. These abilities enabled them to heal wounds, see into the future, summoning and then work with beings of pure energy and even sometimes work with the deceased.

The last part, as creepy as it sounds, has a legitimate purpose. When some people die they may retain a connection to the world of the living. This could be caused by ties to loved one, unresolved issues that will not allow them to rest. These issues keep them trapped, unable to move on, causing them misery and pain. Keeping in mind that this isn’t some current fad or trend or something cool. Using these abilities to work with peoples souls requires a great deal of responsibility. This ability is not for your own entertainment and not to be taken lightly. When you first begin your psychic development, it will seem as if nothing is working. This is completely normal; it takes time to break down the barriers that modern society has enforced on us. These range from religious morality, concepts of good and evil, and fear of what’s different.

You can begin to tear down these barriers by meditating every day and looking inside yourself. The meditation ritual is up to you, whatever relaxes you and opens you to the universe.
